Emma Dorst
Emma Dorst is a Policy Consultant with the International Program at MPI. Her work with MPI, which began as a Research Intern in 2014, focuses on global refugee protection, including asylum, resettlement, and complementary pathways. Ms. Dorst previously worked for the national office of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. Prior to that, she worked with the Wilson Center’s Kennan Institute for advanced research on Eurasia and with the International Partnership for Human Rights in Belgium and Ukraine. Ms. Dorst also lectured for two years at the Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University in Georgia.
Ms. Dorst holds an MA in international migration from the University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies and a BA in politics and Russian and East European studies from Oberlin College.
