Werner Weidenfeld

Dr. Werner Weidenfeld is a member of the Executive Board of the Bertelsmann Foundation, Gütersloh, and since l995 holder of the professorship for political systems and European integration at the University of Munich. He is the editor of the magazine Internationale Politik and a member of the Executive Committee of the German Council on Foreign Relations, Berlin, and the Assembly of Trustees at the Institute for European Politics (IEP), also in Berlin. He sits on the advisory board for European Studies at the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations and at the Europe-Center of RAND, Santa Monica among numerous other functions.
