Hugo Beteta is Director of the Subregional Headquarters in Mexico of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. He has undertaken a wide range of research projects on community development, renewable energy, housing, electrification, water and sanitation and local (municipal) finances, among other sectors.
