This special issue of the Forced Migration Review (FMR) was produced in collaboration with the Migration Policy Institute, and examines a post-9/11 world.

FMR felt that the implications for refugees and IDPs of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and the events which followed were so significant that this special issue was needed to address the fallout and challenges that have come about from the terrorist attacks.

The MPI special section looks at the implications of September 11 for the Middle East and are included for the purpose of further reflection.
