9th Annual Immigration Law and Policy Conference

The conference features discussion on current immigration policy issues by senior officials from U.S. Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, immigration law experts, state officials, and immigration advocates.

The conference offered thoughtful, evidence-based law and policy analysis and discussion of cutting-edge immigration issues. Topics included an analysis of the role of states and the federal government in immigration enforcement, as well as the effects of litigation; immigration policy and the 2012 presidential campaigns; the implementation of the Administration's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and other hot topics in legal service provision; and issues in protection for refugees, asylees and immigrant children.
