Tesseltje de Lange

Tesseltje de Lange is Professor of European Migration Law and Director of the Centre for Migration Law at Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She is an expert on labor migration policy and migrant worker rights.

A renowned socio-legal scholar, Professor de Lange serves as Principal Investigator on the EU Horizon Europe projects DignityFIRM, which focuses on the rights of low-waged migrant workers in farm-to-fork sectors, and Global Strategy for Skills, Migration, and Development (GS4S), investigating the role of migration in addressing skills shortages. She is a sought-after speaker and publishes widely on topics related to labor migration, including in the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, the European Journal of Migration and Law, and Work, Employment, and Society. Her latest book, co-edited with Willem Maas and Annette Schrauwen, is Money Matters in Migration: Policy, Participation, and Citizenship (Cambridge University Press, 2021).
