Andrea Kaufmann

Andrea Kaufmann is the Executive Director of Amani Ya Juu, a nonprofit supporting women artisans in East Africa and the United States. A practitioner and expert in the role of faith actors in development, humanitarian aid, and advocacy work, Kaufmann previously served as the Director of External Engagement for Faith and Development at World Vision, where she led their partnership with faith-based actors. She also worked at World Relief and Counterpart International and served on the World Bank’s Moral Imperative, Board of Joint Learning Initiative for Faith and Local Communities, and Arigatou International Advisory Group. 

She holds an MBA from Seattle University Albers School of Business and Economics and a BA from Wheaton College. 

She is a member of the Advisory Council for the Religion and Refugees Project from MPI’s Refugee and Forced Displacement Initiative.
