Pía Riggirozzi

Pía Riggirozzi is Professor of global politics and Head of the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Southampton, in the United Kingdom. Her research examines the political economy of development, human rights, and regional governance, with a particular focus on gendered inequalities and forced migration in Latin America. She is co-author of Displacement, Human Rights, and Sexual and Reproductive Health: Conceptualizing Gender Protection Gaps in Latin America (Bristol University Press). She holds a PhD from the University of Warwick, in the United Kingdom.
