Pei Palmgren

Pei Palmgren is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Sociology Department at Stanford University. He is the author of the forthcoming book, Embrace and Exclude: The Time-Space Control of Migrant Work in Globalized Thailand (Stanford University Press), and articles in such journals as International Migration Review, Ethnic and Racial Studies, and Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies. He is a member of the Anakot Collective, a research collective focused on the intersections of labor, displacement, and technology.

He holds a PhD in sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
