Linda R. Tropp is Professor of social psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. A recipient of distinguished research and teaching awards from the Society of Experimental Social Psychology, the International Society of Political Psychology, and the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, she has partnered with civil society organizations around the globe to bridge group differences and address social division. She has also authored and edited several books, including The Oxford Handbook of Intergroup Conflict (Oxford University Press). She holds a PhD from the University of California Santa Cruz.
