Kamal Sadiq
Kamal Sadiq is Associate Professor of political science and Director of the Center for Global Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on migration and security as well as citizenship and security processes, institutions, and policies across the Global South, specifically in South and Southeast Asia. He is the author of Paper Citizens: How Illegal Immigrants Acquire Citizenship in Developing Countries (Oxford University Press) and co-editor of Interpreting Politics: Situated Knowledge, India and the Rudolph Legacy (Oxford University Press). He holds a PhD from the University of Chicago.
