Emma Empociello

Emma Empociello is Research Director of the Securitization without Security project and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Henry J. Leir Institute for Migration and Human Security at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Her research examines why states with different political regimes adopt similar border-control policies and practices. 

She holds a PhD in political science from Centre Émile Durkheim at Sciences Po Bordeaux, in France.
