Deborah J. Milly
Deborah J. Milly is an Associate Professor of political science at Virginia Tech. Her research interests include Japanese responses to increased immigration, comparative and global responses to international migration, and comparative patterns of interaction between state and civil-society actors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Japanese language and literature from the University of Michigan, master’s degrees in political science from Yale University and comparative culture from Sophia University (Tokyo), and a Ph.D in political science from Yale University.
