Cecilia Menjívar

Cecilia Menjívar holds the Dorothy L. Meier Chair in Social Equities at UCLA, where she is Professor of sociology. Her research focuses on the legal frameworks and enforcement strategies at various levels of government and the effects of such strategies on Central American immigrants’ lives.
