Funders

MPI’s research and public engagement are chiefly supported by a diversified group of foundations, individuals, and nonprofits, with some support also coming from government and business. These generous investments permit MPI to provide and widely share thoughtful, evidence-informed research and analysis of migration, immigrant integration, and humanitarian protection policies and trends in the United States and internationally, as well as to advance pragmatic policy ideas that work in the interests of society broadly.

Donors contribute to MPI's research activities and overall operations through one-time and multiyear gifts. If you are interested in supporting MPI's work and joining our vibrant community of supporters, please click here for information.

MPI is committed to transparency in its funding relationships. The list below covers funders for fiscal years 2024 and 2025 (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2025).

Doris Meissner Innovation Fund

Generous givers to this standing fund allow MPI to move nimbly into new policy areas and connect on emerging issues, even before project-based support can be secured.
