MPI is providing estimates of the unauthorized populations that could potentially gain legal status under the DREAM Act of 2021 introduced in the Senate in February 2021 by Sens. Richard Durbin (D-IL) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), using an innovative MPI methodology that permits the assignment of legal status in U.S. Census Bureau data.
