Since MPI's founding in 2001 as an independent, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to the evidence-informed study of international migration, the Institute has provided ground-breaking analysis, policy design, and evaluation of immigration, immigrant integration, and humanitarian policies in the United States and internationally.
Your contribution, tax deductible under the U.S. tax code, will support thoughtful, unbiased research and analysis of migration and refugee policies. It will also help MPI disseminate its work and reach new audiences, as well as develop and mentor the next generation of migration thinkers through the Demetrios G. Papademetriou Young Scholars Program.
MPI has a gold transparency seal from GuideStar and a four-star rating from Charity Navigator.
MPI's EIN is: 52-2279789. For the most recent Form 990, click here.
In May 2024, MPI held a tribute gala to celebrate the remarkable career of Senior Fellow Doris Meissner, a giant in the U.S. immigration policy field. Click here to find out more about how to contribute to the Doris Meissner Innovation Fund, which is empowering MPI with new opportunities to advance pragmatic and effective immigration policy solutions that work in the interests of all sectors of society. The fund is allowing MPI to move nimbly into new policy areas and connect on emerging issues, even before project-based support can be secured.
