Tino Tirado

Tino Tirado was a Research Assistant at MPI, where he conducted data analysis and research for the International Program. His work supported the State of Mobility project, which examines post-pandemic mobility policies and trends. He also supported projects that focus on the intersection of climate change, migration, and urbanization/localization.

Prior to joining MPI, Mr. Tirado was a graduate student researcher for the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He previously interned for the International Rescue Committee’s San Diego office and volunteered in the processing and resettlement of Afghan refugees in Fort Pickett, Virginia, during Operation Allies Welcome in 2021.

Mr. Tirado holds a master’s degree in public policy from the UCSD School of Global Policy and Strategy, with an emphasis on program design and evaluation, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from UCSD.
