The Migration Policy Institute Europe (MPI Europe), established in Brussels in 2011, is a nonprofit, independent research institute that aims to provide a better understanding of migration in Europe and thus promote effective policymaking. MPI Europe provides authoritative research and practical policy design to governmental and nongovernmental stakeholders who seek more effective management of immigration, immigrant integration, and asylum systems as well as successful outcomes for newcomers, families of immigrant background, and receiving communities in Europe.
MPI Europe is seeking superlative candidates for full-time, in-person internships in Brussels, which offer a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and practical experience working with experts in a wide range of policy areas, including EU migration and asylum systems, labor migration, and immigrant integration. The internships also offer the opportunity to collaborate directly with policy analysts and senior management, and potentially contribute to published research. The successful candidates will also be involved in the organization of MPI Europe events, which can help enrich their professional networks.

Internship Details and Conditions
Interns are offered a “convencion d’immersion professionnelle” (or “beroepsinlevingsovereenkomst”), which foresees a payment of 1310,15 euros per month. Lunch vouchers will be offered for each workday. Relocation expenses are not covered.
