Andrew Elmore is an Acting Assistant Professor at the New York University (NYU) School of Law and an Affiliated Scholar at the Migration Policy Institute. His fields of research include employment and labor law, civil-rights law, administrative law, and state and local government.
Before arriving at NYU, he served in the New York State Office of the Attorney General as a Section Chief and Assistant Attorney General in the Labor and Civil Rights Bureaus. He previously clerked for Judge Nicholas Garaufis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
He received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and his BA from Swarthmore College.
