
Yoseph Hamid
Communications Officer
Yoseph Hamid is a Communications Officer at the Migration Policy Institute, where he is involved in dissemination and communications, including publication design and multimedia production, analytics reporting, media monitoring, online marketing, social media outreach, contacts database management, and website operations. Previously, he was a Communications Coordinator at MPI.
Prior to joining MPI, Mr. Hamid interned at organizations including the Council on Foreign Relations, Middle East Institute, Partnership for Global Security, and Arab Center Washington DC. He also assisted the American Relief Coalition for Syria with a congressional advocacy campaign to renew Temporary Protected Status for displaced Syrians.
He holds a master’s degree in international peace and conflict resolution from American University’s School of International Service. His capstone project focused on the peacebuilding efforts of Lebanese diaspora activists during the 17 October Revolution and after the Beirut port explosion in 2020. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University at Buffalo–SUNY, having graduated as an Honors Scholar summa cum laude.
