Yoseph Hamid is a Communications Coordinator at the Migration Policy Institute, where he is involved in dissemination and communications functions including contacts database management, website operations, publications and multimedia production, engagement analysis, and social media.
Prior to joining MPI, Mr. Hamid interned at organizations including the Council on Foreign Relations, Middle East Institute, and Partnership for Global Security. He also assisted the American Relief Coalition for Syria with a congressional advocacy campaign to renew Temporary Protected Status for displaced Syrians seeking refuge in the United States. More recently, he provided editorial and research support at the Arab Center Washington DC.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University at Buffalo–SUNY, having graduated as an Honors Scholar summa cum laude. His undergraduate senior honors thesis analyzed the quantitative propensity of consociational institutions to facilitate conflict in multiethnic, developing countries.
