Özge Bilgili is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Barcelona Center for International Affairs. At the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance and United Nations University–Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT), she is a postdoctoral researcher for the Migrant Integration Policy Index project "Integration Policies, Who Benefits?," in partnership with the Migration Policy Group.
Dr. Bilgili coordinates research on impact evaluations and undertakes meta-analysis of the impact of integration policy along seven policy dimensions in 18 migrant-receiving countries. Previously, she was a PhD research fellow at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance, where she worked for "Migration and Development: A World in Motion," a project financed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (IS Academy).
Dr. Bilgili’s expertise in international migration encompasses the topics of transnationalism, immigrant integration, economic and social remittances, return migration, integration and development policies, as well as diaspora engagement policies.
