SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY SUSAN GINSBURG is an attorney who was senior counsel and team leader for the 9-11 Commission’s border security team. She served as chief of staff and senior advisor to the Under Secretary for Enforcement at the Department of the Treasury from 1994-2001, and as special assistant at the Department of State’s Office of International Narcotics Matters from 1979-1981. An attorney, she has practiced law as a civil litigator in private and public litigation. Prior to law school, she was a legislative assistant to Rep. James Scheuer of New York, worked for Ralph Nader as a director of one of his organizations, and as the Washington news producer for TV Globo of Brazil. She is a director of Aid to Artisans, and a member of the Finance Committee for the Bryn Mawr College Alumnae Association. She was educated at Bryn Mawr College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and served as a law clerk to Judge Leon Higginbotham of the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. MODERATOR
