Anita Jawadurovna Wadud

Anita Jawadurovna Wadud is Operations Coordinator with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Toronto, and is responsible for coordinating operations and movement activities. Before moving to Canada, Ms. Wadud was Coordinator of the Operations and Movements Department at IOM Dhaka, where she also worked in the areas of climate change and migration, countertrafficking, and labor migration. Before joining IOM, Ms. Wadud was a migrant worker in Japan, teaching English in local schools.
